Duct Cleaning

How long does it take to clean a duct system?

The HEPA-AIRE vacuum

This depends upon may factors, including the type and size of the home or business, accessibility of the ductwork, number of vents and the number of technicians working on the project. A typical single-family home takes about four to eight hours.

What method do you use to clean the ductwork?

At Air Temperature Control the key components of our state-of-the-art duct cleaning system are the patented HEPA-AIRE portable vacuum and the AIRE-SWEEP compressor. With this method we are using both brushes and compressed air to break loose the dirt and dust.

First, all but one register is covered allowing maximum airflow to this one register. We then connect the HEPA-AIRE power vacuum to the ductwork near the furnace. The special 360 degree high velocity nozzles, or triple whips, dislodge debris inside the ductwork. The powerful HEPA-AIRE vacuum unit pulls the dislodged contaminants into the vacuum filtration system.

Air exhausted back into the facility is clean enough to meet surgical standards.
